Make Bows The Easy Way & A Giveaway

This Giveaway Has Ended.

SONY DSC

On my last post I showed you the hydrangea wreath I made and the bow I added to it.

2014 05 01_3969

I am horrible at making bows.  Luckily, the nice folks at Bowdabra sent me a bow maker to try out!  I followed the directions on the CD that came with the Bowdabra and proceeded to make a bow using some burlap ribbon.

I am so pleased with the way it all turned out!  I especially love that I have a bow I can be proud of!  This made it so much easier for me.  Here are some other bows that I saw on their blog.

wow, your bows are looking professional. Love the flowers. I've been growing a hydrangea bush for 2 years now. It keeps coming back so I'm happy because I have such a brown thumb.

OMG I sooooooo need to win this! I am a horrible bow maker - even my daughter *(who is a great and talented crafter) gave up on me.

Your burlap bow is perfect. You must be ecstatic now you can make them!

Hrm, first thing would be to put one on MY hydranea wreath maybe? And on every gift forevermore.

Thank you to you and the bow peeps for this generous awesome giveaway!! (keeping my fingers crossed!)

I'd love to make pretty bows (something I'm not particularly talented at!) for gift boxes and to embellish artwork, such as altered book covers. It was fun to read your post, and your bow on the wreath is just lovely!

I'm not very good at making bows myself, so I'd use mine to replace all the lousy bows I've made for seasonal decor. Which is quite a few!

Your hydrangea wreath is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Hmmmmm - should I be the winner of the Bowdabra, I would use to to make bows for gift bags and/or gift boxes. I am always creating gifts and always looking for creative and beautiful ways to adorn. Thank you for the chance.
