I want to use that idea to put onto some 4x4 tiles, and make them into coasters for stocking gifts at work this Christmas. If I was smart, I'd start that project now, instead of waiting until Nov o Dec. I saw someone (don't remember where, but you could prob. google it) take napkins and layers of newsprint paper (like in the huge tablets) and plastic wrap, fuse it together with an iron to make their own cardstock. It was really neat! I think they opened the pad up, put the napkin down then layered the plastic wrap on top of that, then layered about 10 sheets or so of the paper on the top. Run the iron over it for a minute or so- no steam. Try it and see what you get, if you need to iron some more to get the right fuse you want. Let us all know how it comes out if you try it. I'd have done it by now - just out of curiosity- but cant find the newsprint pads as of yet.
Have a good night!!
LisaLisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16842831409261960274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4293397190628506592.post-6765508787883503132010-06-27T15:37:43.560-04:002010-06-27T15:37:43.560-04:00Very pretty tiered basket Kathy!
