Tray Chic ~ That’s Tres Chic

I got this great tray from my Mom.  She remembered that it had come to her from a gift basket type thing I sent her some time ago and that I really liked it.   Since she was clearing things up for their new kitchen cabinet install she told me I could have it.

The color is perfect as is and I love the scalloped edges.  I’d love to sit it up in a corner of my kitchen counter  and set up a nice vignette, but I only have two corners that would fit it and one is taken up by a microwave.  So, for now it is incorporated into my dining room tabletop holding my floral arrangement and bunny.

But, I do have a stencil on order that I think will be just lovely.  Can’t wait to get that and show you how it turns out!

    I love trays like this... So many possibilities! I love the idea of stenciling it and cannot wait to see what it looks like!

    Aren't Moms the greatest! I have a tray just like yours and it's in my kitchen holding some pretty things. I like how you are using yours on the table.

    I have a tray that I painted Heirloom White and it is on my kitchen table with stuff on top. I want to see what stencil you use, 'cause I have thought of doing the same thing. I like the way the tray anchors the items on it! The basket design is so pretty! Linda

    Love your tray. I have the same problem, only have two corners in my kitchen and one is taken by the microwave. I love your flower arrangement and bunny and this tray looks great on your DR table. I saw another cute tray today on Cozy Canadian Cottage blog tablescape you might pop over there and take a look at how she used hers.
