Fashionably In Disguise

The June 2009 issue of Metropolitan Home grabbed my attention within the first few pages, and here's why. They showcased this great new item: Fashion designer "Vivienne Tam's models strutted down the runway carrying what appeared to be sleek clutches that matched their couture."

This is what onlookers saw:

These "clutches" are slim HP notebook computers in a peony pattern and designed by Vivienne Tam! Technology in disguise! Here's a closer look:

Tam said that she chose the peonies because they are the most beautiful flowers and have many layers of unfolding blossoms, much like the layers of a busy woman's life; helping to juggle the demands of home and office, but reminding you of what's beautiful and feminine in your life. I like it!

This is what the laptop side looks like:

The enter key includes the Chinse symbol for double happiness - which I think suits this particular laptop to a T. Technology and beauty in one!

  16. Nancy - I'm sure that technology and fashion will catch up someday! Although, it did take quite some time for them to figure out those bulky televisions!
