This week, Gayle at Classic Interior Solutions is our Blog of the Week.
These panels from Jessitt Gold are in Gayle's post about window treatments for sliding glass doors ~ always a challenge.
Using the pattern in the chair above and the wallpaper below {from Thibaut}, Gayle talks about Stylistic Design in Trends in Home Decor here.
I love the colors in this wallpaper and drapes.
Gayle shares a wealth of information on her blog and it is well worth the read. I encourage you to stop by Gayle's blog and say "Hi!".
I love that chair fabric!! Love it - It's totally feminine, and would look fantastic in a little reading nook...
ReplyDeleteI am off to see Gayle's blog
Thanks Kathy
Love that chair! I'll have to have a look at her blog and see what she has to say about window treaments for sliding glass doors!

Hi Vitania, thanks for checking out Gayle's blog. That chair fabric is great, plus I like the lines of the chair itself.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Manuela! I know sliding doors can be confusing to get treatments for, so I think she gives a few good ideas here.
Nice pictures, I will check out her blog.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week.
Bodil.
The chair is absolutely wonderful! The crisp white is beautiful. Hadn't seen the sliding screens before, so visiting Gayle's blog was helpful. Notice one of our checkerboard kitchens is an inspiration pic for you :-) Black & White is one of our most popular topics. Jane T.
ReplyDeleteI HEART that chair!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Bodil; and thanks for visiting my blog!
ReplyDeleteThat white is crisp, Jane; really shows off the other colors nicely. Yes, love the checkerboard floors! I was glad I found the picture, not just for inspiration, but because it brought me to the magazine site. Now I have more lovely pictures to look at!
@Red House Happenings ~ looks like a great chair to read in {slouched down just a bit so no one can find you!}.

Kathy,
ReplyDeleteLove the graphic pattern in that chair! And the smokey blue in the wall paper and drapes is so calming and restful. I may use that color in my master. When you get the chance come check out my latest DIY master bedroom art project. It's almost done, all that's left is to add an accent color. This smokey blue may just work!
I love the colors in that wallpaper and the drapes, too, Jane! I'd love to see your art project ~ be right over! : )
