Frugal Finds From Target

Over the weekend I found a few things in Target's dollar section in the front of the store; I couldn't resist going through it to see what they had.

I got this 2 towel set of green kitchen towels for $2.50; another 2 towel set of red powder room towels for $2.50, and two sleeves of little, itty-bitty ornaments for $2.50 each.

I was very excited to see the little ornaments! The colors are very similar to the larger ornament sleeves I picked up at the Dollar Tree about a month ago {and blogged about here}. This size will be perfect for the new Christmas trees I picked up at Goodwill, which I blogged about here.

I'm linking this post up with Frugalicious Friday over at Finding Fabulous! Can't wait to see all the fabulous frugal finds everyone else got! Come join us!

  2. I hit the mother load last weekend on frugal goodies, it was just too much to blog about.
I am gearing up for Christmas too.
    Great little finds ...
I have never put out my Christmas decorations in November, but I want to have a little party so I am getting it out next week. Yikes!
    Have a great weekend.

  5. How pretty! I just love the cute towels and tiny ornaments. Isn't Target the best?

It seems that Lyntte will be able to get me a stick on M for my topper. Yay!

    Have a great weekend. ~Melissa :)

  7. Very fun and thrifty! I haven't had a chance to stop by Target since the day they were clearancing out all their Halloween. They always have great little finds for the holiday season.

  11. When I saw your itty bitty ornaments I thought "how perfect for her ball wreath" but now I see you're using them on your tree instead. Maybe you'll have to go back and buy more of each to make a wreath to match your trees! I heart Target's dollar section and RARELY walk away from that section without a few finds.

  12. Love the dollar section at Target!!! I love it even more when they get ready to put out a new season and they put stuff on clearance and you can get it for 30% to 70% off :)

  13. Hi PK! I liked the towels since I'm hosting the family this year. I thought they would be cute.

I really need to concentrate on making gifts and not buying decorations, Lee! Although, if I do see them at a good price I supposed I should pick them up!

    Thank you, Liz!

I never knew they were there, Janell! We happened to stop there to decide which way to go and I saw them.

  14. Melissa ~ That's great that you can get an M for that topper! I hope you'll show us when you get it. The towels were cute and I couldn't resist the ornaments.

I can understand that, Tiffani! Luckily, I usually go into Target with a list of what I need/want and stick to it.

@Designs on 47th Street ~ I do have to make another trip back there to pick something up. I am sure I'll be looking at what they've put on clearance!

  15. I limited myself to just these items, Tara, although I am sure I could have picked up a few other items!

I can't believe I never realized it was right there, Chelsea! I walked past it every time.

Those towels will come in handy, Linda. I'm hosting Christmas Eve this year and I like to put a little touch of holiday decorating everywhere.

  16. I thought that afterwards, Beth! I did see that Eddie Ross had a wreath ornament that looks fairly easy, so I may go back and get more.

I'll be looking for clearance items next time in, Teri!

  22. Oooh, I love those itty-bitty tree ornaments!! I have two little trees and have been buying little ornaments for them for the last couple of years. If we had Target here, I'd be all over these ones -- they're the perfect colours!!

  23. Thanks, Jane! I can't wait to decorate those little trees!

Thank you Janean! I like to put a little touch of holiday decorating in the bathrooms, too!

    Have fun, Maria!

I thought they were chocolates at first, L! Then I saw the tops and was so happy to see they were ornaments!

  24. My pleasure, Jess! Thanks for visiting me!

You just say that because there's purple in there, Kelly! : ) Actually, you have reminded me that when my kids were little I had a fake tabletop tree for them with little wood ornaments. I know I still have them ~ somewhere.
