Is That The Same Mantle?

I’m joining in on The Mantel Party hosted by Beth at The Stories of A to Z today.  I wanted to do a post on my great room mantle, but it is such a difficult area to get pictures of that I just deleted them {and the post} and started fresh.

Unfortunately, you get to see the same mantle again, except that I changed something.  I got the clock I bought on clearance from JC Penney out of its box in the garage and put it up in place of the canvas piece I had up there.  That canvas piece couldn’t stay there anyway ~ I have other plans for it, so I needed something.  I almost forgot I had gotten that clock!

Same mantle but with a different centerpiece!  I kind of like the way the worn look of the clock works against the brick.

  5. Great clock! I think round clocks look great on mantels as they add curve to a straight space.
