I’m joining in again with Barb at Grits & Glamour for her Tabletop Tuesday link-up. Thanks for hosting Barb!
This week I’m showing the coffee table in my living room. The coffee table that I will be painting or staining black soon.
I took some books that I was going to donate and removed their covers. I’ve been doing this throughout the house and it helps add a little something since I packed up all the books I’m keeping. I got this lovely little plant at Tuesday Morning {just a couple of weeks ago}.
The tray I got a couple of months ago from Michaels; I just added the fleur de lis to the sides and inserted scrapbook paper on the top.
My dollar store hurricanes made from candlesticks and a vase and candleholders, with the larger one holding some eggs I also picked up at Tuesday Morning.
Thanks for visiting! Check out the other participants, too ~ I’m sure they will inspire you!
Very pretty Kathy! I noticed that plant right away but I thought it was real!

Looks really great! I bet the table will be very nice painted black! I've been adding a lot of black here and there to my decor and it really makes it "pop!"

Kathy, Very pretty tablescape and the white and black tray would fit in my office perfectly. Thanks for visiting me and your sweet comments on my office. The furniture came from "Room Store". I don't know if they are a national furniture company or only in our area. I looked at Ballards but found this desk & bookcase for about 1/3 the cost. Target also has a similar desk.
ReplyDeleteYaay, coffee table vignettes, looks great :)
ReplyDeleteThe table looks great. I love the hurricanes and can't wait to see how the table transforms. I am sure it will look fabulous.

SOOO pretty !! I love how you dressed up the tray (might have to borrow that idea), and your hurricanes are perfect (especially the one filled with the cute, colorful Easter eggs). I look forward to seeing your table painted black, too. Hugs, Becca

Beautiful display Kathy. I'm looking forward to seeing your table painted. Love that white sofa!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the different textures and heights, I see eggs, Oh how I love Spring, this is making me think of my favorite season, Kathysue
ReplyDeleteLove it Kathy! That table will look great painted black! Your vignette is gorgeous and the collection of black books really adds weight to the display.
ReplyDeleteEverything works so well on your table, Kathy! I've done that with all my books too . . . removed the dust covers. I read that, or saw it on a show, somewhere about doing that. I think it really adds a more sophisticated look when we're using books as part of our vignettes.
ReplyDeleteI just love those sweet little eggs. I have to find me some for when it's time transition to all the Spring goodies.
Thanks for sharing!
Love your coffee table dear Cathy...all the details are so sweet and ladylike :-)
