Polly at Make Mine Beautiful makes these gorgeous work aprons. I had entered a giveaway Polly had and one of her aprons was the giveaway prize, but I didn’t win {darn}. I wanted one very badly and knew that it would work so well for me in my interior decorating business.

So, I bought one. I can’t pass up functional and pretty! Look at all the details.

So many times I am up and down a ladder or step stool just to retrieve a tool, screw, measuring tape or wall anchor. I have already had an opportunity to use the apron and it was great! I kept everything I needed for this particular job in the apron and Polly was right ~ I almost forgot I had it on!
And how professional do I look wearing my new apron?! {Can you tell that I’m telling my son to “take the da*n picture already!”}.
This is not how I dress to go to an installation. I had just gotten home from the day job and someone was actually home that I could get to take the picture. And he was on his way out, hence the lovely background and attire.
I’ve only had one occasion to use mine so far and I had my pencil, a screwdriver, screws and wall anchors, a tape measure, and my drill bit in the pockets. As soon as I figure out the ipod I got for Christmas, that will be hanging out in there too.
I love it and it gets my thumbs up!
That is too cute. And I am always thinking the same thing when I am up on a lader!
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks Kathy! And you look so cute in it too! I told you they were comfortable.
ReplyDeleteJust so you know, I see you holding that drill in your hand. We have a drill pocket that slides right on to the waistband. The store will be up in the next week, and you can see those too.
Thanks for the feature!
You look great in your new apron!!!
ReplyDeleteCute and organized...

Yes! I could have used on of these an hour ago installing drapery hardware. I have a carpenter belt, but who remembers to wear something so uninspiring as that?

What a cute idea for a girly work/craft apron. It looks great on you.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely MUCH cuter than a regular tool belt and it looks great on you! Didn't even know anyone made these. Great way to stay organized and look good at the same time...
ReplyDeleteLove it, and you are such a cutie too!
ReplyDeleteWow, you are now a true Diva. That apron looks so handy...I think I am going to have to check those out and order one myself.
ReplyDeleteThat is just too cute. I am certain you will be the talk of the town wearing that!
ReplyDeleteOoo, I love it! It is so darned cute. I may have to get one. I could wear it cleaning . . . or when I'm scrap booking . . . or when I'm cooking . . . or, like you, during a decorating session!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to pop right over to Polly's place and take a look.
You look marvelous darling!! I saw that on Polly's blog a while back and thought it was a great idea. You have just proven it to be true. Polly better get her order pad handy!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great demo.

Kathy the apron and you look fabulous! That is a darn cute apron.
ReplyDeleteSo your son was getting a little payback for all those times mom tried to get him to sit still for a picture? LOL I know the feeling.

What a darling apron and you look adorable wearing it. =) You're right, who can pass up functional and pretty? =) ~Liz
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful apron...and you look so fabulous! I just imagine you cooking in the kitchen and listening Ipod which is hanging in your stylish apron LOL. Such a modern housewife you are!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend dear Kathy, cheers: Evi
Ohhh coooool. :) Giddy here! I've needed one of these forever!

SO CUTE! Let me just say, before I EVEN READ the caption of you giving "the look" I thought...I bet a male is taking that picture. Haha! I know that look!!! My opinion on drapery installations: The customer is so happy to finally have their drapes that they don't care what you are wearing! I find that it was always better when they weren't home though. They get so nervous about holes in the wall, it's not straight, "no mam it isn't. He is still measuring." Nobody needs an audience for that kind of thing!
