Nesting

Just a preview of a few new items I’m going to be listing in my boutique.  I’ll be listing these separately, but if you are interested in them as a set, I’d be glad to combine shipping.

I saw these in two places in the past couple of weeks.  Rebekah at All Thingz Related did a beautiful shadowbox on a stand and someone else had done something similar on a wood plaque {if this is you or you know who I’m talking about, please let me know and I’ll put that link in.  I was searching linky parties for a good hour Saturday trying to find it}.  I knew the wood plaques would be less expensive than a shadowbox so I went that route.

I was also thrilled that I was finally able to use a few things I won from a Robin’s Egg Blues giveaway several months ago.  The little blue birds, Paris stamped ticking, white paper flowers and Scrabble tiles came from that giveaway.

The larger two are finished on the back with a piece of scrapbook paper that {amazingly} matches the paint color I used.  The little one is a small shadowbox, which does have glass on the frame.

I really like the way these turned out, so I won’t be too disappointed if they don’t sell!  A beautiful Robins Egg blue color, with some distressed ink and, on the large plaques, little embellishments added in.  I’ll try to get some better shots for the boutique that will show everything.

This was mainly what I was working on this week ~ a little bit each night.  This weekend is reserved for outside projects though!

  4. Very nice Kathy! Very creative! I especially like the one you did with the page out of the dictionary as a background. I just picked up an old dictionary at GW a few weeks ago know that I would find something to do with it.

Oh, you better not get too attached to those cuties. I'm sure they'll be flying out the door in no time!
