One of the only things I found at Home Goods the last trip there were some frames on clearance {very disappointing trip}. One of the frames I got was this little gold number ~ $5.00. It’s very heavy and very gold.
To make it work for me I decided to dry brush some paint on it to cut down on the gold a bit. I used this craft paint called Sky Blue {which is more of a Robin’s Egg Blue to me}.
I left some of the gold showing, but this frame now fits in with my bedroom.
I think a picture of hubby and I will be just perfect for it!

I love how you changed up this frame. Don't you hate when you walk out of Home Goods empty handed. I am hosting my very first linky party. This would be a great post to link up. It's under yesterday's post and the link will be open for a few more days.

ReplyDeleteAre you using it to stage?
How is that coming, are you ready yet?
If so, you are one fast stager--I think I am lolly-gagging because I think I have a year left.
But this year, 2011, i haven't done diddly squat yet.
I'd better get moving, huh?
