I’ve had these pictures for a long time. I do still like the fruit prints, although I’m not into them at the moment. I’ll hold onto them though because I’m sure they will come back out at some time. The frames were gold and really needed to be updated. {I’m sorry, I forgot to take a picture of them before taking it apart}.
I had purchased these bunny prints {from either art.com or allposters.com} a few months ago and decided to use them to replace the fruit prints in the frames. Being a bunny nut, I just love them!
I painted the frames in Heirloom White and had to cut the prints down a little bit to fit. I also had to remove the picture hanger and use it on one of the other sides because the bunny pictures hang horizontally. TIP: Use needlenose pliers to hold those little nails that go into the sawtooth picture hangers.
I’ve hung them over the dresser in the foyer and removed my PB keys that were hanging there. TIP: This Erase A Hole stuff works great and saves me from having to deal with spackle. It’s great for filling in holes made from pictures or window treatment hardware.
I wound up using some dark wax on top of the Heirloom White to age it a bit. I like how the putty color in the prints goes with the putty color of the lamp.
I like the lighter feel of these prints over the keys. This little chest is coming in handy already. I started using the baskets and so far I’ve put my cloth napkins in No. 1, my napkin holders in No. 2 and No. 3 is holding my table runners.
The drawer is holding some chargers that I had no room for anywhere else.
Reminder: The Ramsign Giveaway is still on and ends on Sunday, July 10th!
