A New Tassel

While looking at Heather from Butterfly Gene’s new craft room, I noticed all the pieces she had as supplies for making her tassels.  I contacted Heather and ordered a custom one.  Can you guess which I picked?

I got my little chocolate bunny tassel Monday {it’s always nice to get presents, even from yourself on a Monday}!   When I say little, that by no means describes the tassels that Heather makes.  These are a great size tassel and she dressed this one with creams, whites and browns.

I put it on my Frenchy dresser sitting on a crown magnifying glass.

Then tried hanging it off the lamp switch.  I’m thinking of using it in my craft room at the new place.

Sadly, it looks like real chocolate, so that means I will have to make sure I keep some real chocolate on hand!    Here is a close up of some of the ribbons Heather used.

Look at the button this little guy has hidden just under his front paws.

A small fleur! Great touch and I love my new tassel!

  10. Cute tassel. I see you are moving to Ohio. My daughter and family live outside Columbus and love it. Housing is so much cheaper, and taxes, too. What made you choose ohio? My daughter and her husband went to grad school/law school out there and ended up working in Marion. I HATE the 7.5 hr drive to visit them!! I am sure you will miss the proximity to NYC and the ocean, but Ohio is slower, calmer living. I am surprised to hear you don't have Hobby Lobby on LI...we have it here in Syracuse...you will be in shopping heaven when they have their 80-90% sales...good luck with your move...the best thing about blogging is that you don't have to send us "we've moved cards" LOL

For some reason I cannot get your blog address to load to my blogroll - weird! Anyone else have that problem? I am going to keep trying every few days

  18. Kathy, This is so wonderful! Oh my gosh, you own the most lovely things!
Moon for you! Absolutely! May I have your birthday date so as to add that to the character. You can e-mail me at elizabeth.andrus@yahoo.com No money is to be sent until I am ready to mail when they are all completed. One trip to the post office that way! I will post your moon when he is done, however.
Thank you so much for asking! E
