Christmas Front Door 2011

Being in a condo now, I’m keeping my outdoor decorations quite simple.   For Fall, I had a two pumpkin topiary in a black urn by the front door and a basket of faux florals.

For Christmas and Winter, I have some faux greens in the urn and I hung a “baby” sled with a red bow and a faux Christmas pick, tucked in above that.   I got that sled for $2.00 at a yard sale over the Summer before we left New York!

I was going to paint the sled, but I’m liking it the way it is.

And a swag for my front door.  I like the way it looks against the cranberry colored door.

    Kathy- I have a little sled like that, too. I just love it. Your front looks very nice. It is different moving into a condo, isn't it? We have been debating that move for a while. xo Diana

    Love the sled and the color of the front door. We had hoped to be in a condo a couple years ago but our house didn't sell. May try again when the market is better.

    It's obviously been a while since I've caught up on everybody's meanderings - the last time I visited you was when you were just starting to look at condos in Ohio. I had no idea you had already moved and gotten settled in. I know how tiring that can be, so I hope you're holding up well.

    I'm off to read through your posts to see how you got moved so fast while I was "napping."

    Love the greenery and the swag!! Looks fabulous on your door!! I am changing the flowers on my wreaths from red to gorgeous creamy magnolias! Can't wait to hang them on our front doors!! Maybe in the next day or so!

    It looks very pretty, Kathy. I love the green against the door. I have a sleigh that was my son's. Haven't climbed up to the garage loft to get it...maybe I won't! Enough is enough!
