A project I’ve been working on this week; making changes to these chairs. I started out looking at three different tutorials {which I printed out} and wound up just doing my own thing.
The fabric underneath has to be dealt with {it shows through}, but I’m sharing my “in the process” pictures with you. It’s very cloudy here today so let’s go into the living room where there’s a little more light.
Very casual and carefree chair slips! Nothing fancy and keeping it simple. I’ve got one down and three more to go!
Then I will need to figure out if I want chair ties, velcro closures or if I actually need anything at all. It seems to sit on the chair pretty well all by itself. I will have to sit on them, and get up and down a few times, to see if they stay put.
I’ll have a more thorough post on these coming up this week.

Kathy- That looks great- you did a beautiful job. I like the looks of it without the ties-if it will stay put- xo Diana

Hi Kathy,
ReplyDeleteI love how the slipcover looks on the chair. The chair style has a cottagey country french look and the ruffled slip is perfect.
