This Giveaway Has Ended.
Recently, I was invited to take a look at a company called Novica and to do a review on an item of my choosing.
Here is a portion of Novica’s mission statement:
We want to give artists and artisans around the world a global platform to express their true artistic talents and to spur their creativity. And, we want to provide you with access to unique, hard-to-find items at great values that only the Internet infrastructure can allow.
I chose these blown glass wine goblets in “Ocean Gold” made in Mexico to review. They’re beautiful!
This next picture might have you saying, “huh?”, but this is an important aspect to me when I order something fragile. It shows me care is taken with the item to get it to me safely and in one piece.
Look at how thick the box itself is, the insert pieces are thick, and each glass is enclosed in a thick cardboard overlay. Well protected.
Once opened, I hand washed each one and, while I’m no great tablescaper, I set up a table setting so I could show them off to their best advantage.
I love how they go with pieces I already own; namely my water goblets from Kohl’s and my custard cups from Goodwill.
Novica is also offering one of my readers a $50.00 gift certificate and I wanted to share some of the things I came across on the website. They have a wide variety of artisans’ items to choose from.
Tulip Dance Filigree Earrings
Floral Necklace ~ Mother Earth Sleeps
Silk Batik Scarves
Earthly Nature Cotton Placemats
They also have a wonderful selection of pendant bracelets, silk shawls from India, and alpaca wool gloves, just to name a few.
To enter this giveaway, you must visit the Novica website and come back and tell me in a comment what caught your eye. For additional entries, you can:

This giveaway will run through Friday, March 23, 2012. If you do not have a blog you can still enter the giveaway, but you must leave me an email address so I have some way to contact you. The gift certificate has to cover your shipping as well. Winner will be chosen via random.org and will have 48 hours to confirm or another winner will be chosen.
