Last week I shared with you the great little child size aprons I got at Hobby Lobby.
After washing and ironing them, I set to embellishing them to give them some personality. The white ruffle hemmed apron I made up for my granddaughter.
While the other two were plain natural canvas aprons, I gave them little girl makeovers, too. One also got an Alice in Wonderland tea party transfer framed out in a pretty cream trim and with a bit of bling and crinkled seam binding at the top.
The second is just perfect for the little Princess in Training with some ruffle ribbon at the top and a bit of bling above the crown with a vintage button.
The two natural canvas ones are currently for sale in my Etsy shop. Perfect for your own granddaughter, daughter, niece, or even a dress form!

ReplyDeleteHi Kathy,
ReplyDeleteFirst...I love your new profile pic!
Second, I just read the post above and if I weren't so tired right now (been gone all day and stayed up until 2:00 a.m.) I'd head right back out...I may have an energy boost in a couple hours and go get some paint. Thanks for sharing!
Third, these are just too adorable! What a great idea for personalizing and stylizing a plain ole' apron! I just love what you did. I'm going to go check them out at your shop now.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Nancy
