We had a beautiful day here on Thursday; temps in the 70’s, a light breeze and sunshine. It was a perfect day to take the daughter and granddaughter to one of the nearby parks and I decided to pack us a picnic!
I don’t have an actual picnic basket, so I used this basket with a handle that I do have. I layered in a couple of new towels to pretty it up a bit.
After seeing my friend, Angie’s, recent picnic basket that she did for her and a friend to enjoy, I picked up some of these glassine bags for our sandwiches and used some pink raffia to tie them closed.
A couple of bottles of water {and a sippy cup of water for the baby}, some chips, gluten free pretzels, the baby’s favorite ~ strawberries, some baby carrots and our meal was complete.
I also added in a couple of the paper plates and napkins I recently picked up on clearance from Christmas Tree Shops. We played before we ate.
She did not like the sand on her feet at all!
A good time was had by all.
Even Teddy!

How lovely to enjoy such a sweet picnic!! We have had fall like weather the past couple of days here in central FL!! Just divine, and I'm loving it, because on Friday it's suppose to be 92 degrees!! But I don't mind the heat either!!
