The final wood floor has gone in ~ in the sunroom. The only other flooring we are changing is carpeting in the two bedrooms and we are probably going to have that done within the next couple of weeks. Here is the sunroom “before”.
The beginning stages. This is a bamboo hardwood, click and lock flooring.
So easy even I could do it! It took all day Saturday but we got it done, including the additional molding needed to finish it off {not shown in these pictures}.
I love how it looks in here and it goes really well with the furniture and the window valance fabric.
Now I absolutely have to stop procrastinating and finish those valances! Hopefully, I’ll have a full finished room to show you next week.
What a difference! Love it and love that you could do it! One of these days we have to redo our floors and I think we might have to go that route too. Did you get the flooring at Home Depot or Lowes??????

The floor looks great!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, how beautiful is this. Your new floors are gorgeous. Loe it. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Your rooms look larger and more inviting! Hard surface flooring has it all over carpet. My hubby is an endorsed Pergo installer and every inch of our house (kitchen & baths included) is Pergo. With 2 labs and 1 queen kittycat, all I do is walk thru the house with a 3' wide janitor's mop. We do have area rugs and a couple runners but they're not nearly as difficult to keep clean as carpeting. The thoughts of what was hiding in there make me itch.
ReplyDeletejust gorgeous, really changes the look of that wonderful room!

Kathy, Your fall decor is just lovely. I saw an idea recently that made me think of you. A silver or silver plated scalloped tray with the inside area painted with chalkboard paint and hung with the beautiful ribbon you love. Now you have me looking for elegance in my surroundings!

ReplyDeleteLovely hardwood floors, looks wonderful!
We have a lot of interest in the bamboo hardwood floors. Especially since it is scratch resistent and it looks so good. There is a lot of demand for hardwood flooring products with people reselling their homes.
