Well, not really love letters. It is French script wrapping paper from Ballard Designs cut and rolled, taped, then tied with a little bit of red and white crinkled seam binding.
This cloche was standing empty after the Christmas decorations got put away. Apparently, I don’t have much in Valentine’s Day decorations, so I improvised with what I had.
You could probably leave something like this out all year.
You can find lots of letters and documents free online that you could print off or even use sheet music.
It is, at least, satisfying my need to not have to look at an empty cloche or have to buy something to fill it until Spring/Easter decorating.
Now, I’ve got a red tote on my living room coffee table {that I used for Christmas} calling out for something!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!!! I don't have a cloche like that but a decorative glass jar would also work.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very sweet idea. I don't do much in the way of valentine's decor, but this is something I could do =)

ReplyDeleteI never can figure out what to put in my cloches. Yes, I have several, but I rarely use them because I'm not creative enough to make them attractive. Your idea with the papers is a really easy, but pretty idea I think even I could copy. Thanks for the suggestion!

ReplyDeleteHey Kathy...stopped by to pin your cloche and add it to my FB page...I just keep seeing it and it remeinded me that I should pass it on for you. Saw it on your feature at The Country French Farmhouse. I hope to wrap up my Valentines; Day Mantel to post it.
