That would be the theory of “decorate for it and it will come”. It didn’t work for me anyway! This is what we woke up to this morning.
No surprise as it had been forecast, but you always kind of hope it will turn into nothing.
The good news is that it is supposed to be 52 degrees on Saturday, so maybe we will get that predicted early Spring after all.
I don't know about you but I am dreadfully sick of winter. I hope we get above freezing this weekend- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteKathy, I think we passed this right on to you! My street looked just like yours yesterday. I haven't put anything springy out yet, but I am next week no matter what the weather is like!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
We got slammed yesterday, and now, it's starting to melt a bit. We're suppose to be in the 50's this weekend too.
ReplyDeleteNothing here yet and I'm hoping it doesn't actually happen. It's 43 degrees here so it seems too warm, but I guess I will see overnight.
ReplyDeleteoh, but it's so pretty there! stay warm and snuggly!

ReplyDeleteLOL! Love your title. I know you're ready for spring but that's a beautiful snow. Spring will be here before you know it.
ReplyDeleteYour first comment made me laugh! I too am beginning to decorate for Spring and it is 30 degrees and sleeting outside!
ReplyDeleteThe snow in your pictures IS beautiful!!!
Wow gal! That is a lot of snow!! Hope you're keeping warm! It's supposed to be 40 here tonight. I don't do cold well. I'm a born and raised sunshine girl...and well, I'm spoiled I guess! They'd have to drag me kicking and screaming out of Florida!!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Becky

ReplyDeleteMarsha
Such a winter wonderland! I have never seen that much snow, living in Tennessee and then So Cal. I guess it does get old, but it sure is gorgeous. Could we trade for a month? :-)

ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful to someone who lives in the desert.
ReplyDeleteWe got it too and I refuse to shovel any more this season! Just letting it melt away!
ReplyDeleteWe are getting hit right now as I type this with a Noreaster. The wind and snow seems to never end in Northern NJ this winter. The wind has been unbeliveable this year.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a lot of snow! It's so pretty though.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty much the same view out my window too! It's pretty ... but it's March so I'd rather see flowers and birds!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy,
ReplyDeleteWOW you got hit again, but it is gorgeous. Your pics look like a vintage snow village.
Stay warm. I hope it melts quick and you see springtime soon.
Hugs, Celestina Marie
I missed this! Oh goodness, hope it is starting to melt!!
ReplyDeleteCarol
I feel your pain - really! I'm waiting impatiently for spring to come too, and sick and tired of snow! Even after rain this weekend still at least in most of my front and back yards, yech! It sure is pretty though, isn't it, when freshly fallen like that and coating the shrubs and trees. Your neighborhood looks lovely. Spring Equinox on 3/20! Do something "pagan" that day to celebrate :)
