Do you know those cloth bags you sometimes get with new bed linens? Like this one that held a new dust ruffle I got {from the Shabby Chic line} from Target.
What do you do with it? It’s a nice little bag with a velcro closure. I couldn’t throw it away and had no other use for it, so I decided to add a couple of graphics to it and make it a clothespin bag. I searched on Pinterest and The Graphics Fairy and came up with these.

I used transfer paper and ironed them onto the front of the bag. One is on the flap and one is on the body of the bag.
It is now in my Etsy! With several clothespins to get you started!

What a super Idea Kathy. I can remember using those clothespins many years ago, that's all that there was. The one thing I miss about condo living is losing my clothes line. Have a wonderful day!

Oh,my gosh, Kathy. That is ridiculously clever! I think I have a few of those bags...somewhere...
ReplyDeleteJust adorable, Kathy! Great choice of images. Clothespin bags used to be a way of life. I still remember my grandmother's bag and my mamaw's apron that she kept her clothepins in. Hanging clothes on the line was such a wonderful way for a busy woman to connect with nature and neighbors!
