I’m sure many of you didn’t even know I was gone! I scheduled some posts for while we were away for a week, so it wouldn’t be totally dead over here. We went to New York for this.
Our son’s graduation from Stony Brook University where he received his degree in Athletic Training. I got teary during the ceremony and wasn’t sure if it was for the graduation or because we don’t have to pay for college anymore. We also helped our son pack up his shared housing rental, pack up our car and his, and drove with him to his new school, where he will be taking a one-year Masters program {and we don’t have to pay for it!}. It was on our way home, so it worked out good. We are so very proud of him!
So now that I’m back, I will be visiting again! It was a real withdrawal not having access to blogs and the internet!
Congratulations to your son, what a great accomplishment. Great picture of the three of you. Hugs, Marty

I laughed when you commented on not having to pay for college anymore. We felt like we had a major raise when our last graduated from college. Her apartment rent was literally more than our mortgage.
