Not totally thrilled with how this looks at the moment and it doesn’t help that I’ve been in a “blah” mood this week. To my eye, it looks like someone just came along and upended a bag of leaves into my urn. I will have to take some time and tweak it a bit, I think.
Here is a picture of our front door area that includes all three of the Fall projects I did this year.
It was 91 degrees the day I put this together and they were letting the schools out early due to the heat. I’m sure many of my neighbors were thinking I was suffering from heatstroke.
I keep telling myself that sometimes you have projects like this, where they don’t turn out quite like you were expecting them to. Please tell me you’ve had one recently, too!

Actually, I'm kinda liking the urn filled with leaves! Maybe when it cools down a bit and feels more seasonable outside, you will like it, too. To be honest, I frequently have project turn out a little less stellar than I envisioned. But, that is just a part of the process - allows to tweak, tweak, tweak!!!

I know what I have had in my mind and it hasn't come out right! I don't think your urn looks bad at all though! I know you and you'll figure out just what you wanted though!

I think it looks wonderful, Kathy. Maybe it's the hot weather that makes it not look quite right. I bet once the weather cools down, you'll like it just fine. :)
