The Plant Container No One Wanted

SONY DSC

I had picked up this plant container last year {just before Easter} on clearance, for my booth.  I thought it was cute and a bonus was that it had the plastic insert in it for putting some potted plants inside it.

Easter 2013

I liked it so much that I kept it on our dining table until after Easter and then brought it to my booth.  Last year it also held tulips, but I was lucky enough to find them in pots that fit perfectly inside.

It sat the whole year in my booth without any takers, so I brought it home with me just before Easter this year.

I put a couple of mason jars filled with water and some tulips and babies breath in it.

And it graced our dining table for another Easter.  I’m sure I will enjoy using it, even if no one else wanted it!

  3. Such a lovely container for your tulips! I think the worn look of the wood is a perfect contrast to the cheerful color of the flowers. Maybe it was meant to be for you to have it a little longer~~~Blessings for a wonderful week~~~Roxie

  8. You were meant to have it.

It is awesome - so homey and unique and spring-y. I adore it and love how you made it your own.

How is business going? Having a good spring? We're supposed to get warm this week. Kath, I swear I am gonna go postal if we go from all this grey cold rain straight to humid unbearable heat of summer. Seriously, I kid you not. POSTAL.

  20. Love it! It's the perfect size. I have a couple but they all need 4-6 mason jars in them and I'd love to find something smaller like this.

Maybe put a fake plant in it when you display it in your booth? Some people have no imagination!
