While I am cleaning up my craft sewing room and taking pictures to get ready for this weekend’s Where Bloggers Create linky party, I thought I would share with you the pictures of the urn that I had planted by my garage door. This is what it looked like on May 24, 2015, shortly after I planted it.
This is three plants: Coleus (2), purple Geranium (2), and licorice plant (2). In just over a month it has more than doubled in size!
I just love how it has filled in and I’m looking forward to seeing what it looks like come August. We have had off and on humidity, as well as some consistent days of rain, but also some dry spells thrown in there as well ~ quite the weather variety this year! I make sure I water it {as well as my other pots} if we don’t have rain for a couple of days.
Are your plants doing well with what your weather is giving you?
Oh wow, it looks amazing. No it is so hot here that everything looks terrible.
ReplyDeleteYour plant looks GREAT!!!!
ReplyDeleteAs for us, our potted plants I have been taking under cover for the heavy rains. Garden drains well and is doing marvelously well.
Vegetable garden - about done, between way too much rain, and the rabbits there is one big giant disappointment there, my poor husband who works so hard to have a garden. We had a good bit of spinach, some nice zucchini and onions but no green peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers............boo hoo.
Hey I wrote you an email right after you left for vacay - hope you got it? Had a question about transferring graphic art. Thanks hon, welcome back, missed you. hugs.
Oh my goodness, so lush. It filled out beautifully Kathy.

this is so pretty, Kathy. I love the mix and those variations of green! we're waterlogged here, rain almost everyday, blah.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Kathy. I'm disappointed in my herbs this year. Mine are usually huge by now. I think it has been extremely humid and hazy that may be the reason

Hi Kathy,
ReplyDeleteI love the pretty colors in your plants. Lovely.
My plants are choking and dying because here on the coast the weather and humidity has been awful. Can't wait for Fall.

I wish I had your green thumb!!
ReplyDeleteKathy, this is gorgeous! I love the combination of plants and am amazed they have grown this much! You have a green thumb! It was great to see your link pop up in my inbox today! Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteThis year marks the first time I ever heard of licorice plants, and I'm in love! Your display is beautiful, and I have to say this year mine are too. The weather, a combination of sunny and rainy days, has really helped the flowers grow amazingly fast.
ReplyDeleteWow! I can't believe how big everything got. I'm just glad my veggies didn't die while we were away. Mites got to our eggplants but otherwise, everything looking good.
