Silver Sunday Easter Centerpiece

A couple of months ago I bought two silver trays at Goodwill too pretty to paint with chalkboard paint.  Feeling I needed a more Spring-like centerpiece on my dining room table, I pulled out the larger of the two and put this together rather quickly on Friday evening.

I used items I already had in the house.  The bunny plays music with a turn of the key at the bottom, the candles I actually used at Christmas with some Christmas scrapbook paper wrapped around them, and I’d like to find a ribbon or scrapbook paper to wrap around them now for this time of year.

The paper grass I bought recently to do little baskets for my kids and the little eggs are malted eggs from the dollar store.

The silver candlesticks I also already owned and they have been making the rounds.

A little bit of brightness with this horribly cloudy, rainy weather we’ve been having, {which also made getting decent pictures difficult so I apologize for the blurriness factor}.

Please visit Beth at Gypsy Fish Journal for more Silver Sunday participants.

  3. What a great find on the silver. I see a lot at our GW too. It's a shame so many are getting rid of it. Your centerpiece is gorgeous. Love the apple green candles, I am really loving that color now. What a special bunny and it plays music too. Beautiful centerpiece. Hugs, Marty

  7. This is so cute! I have to admit...I am always way behind on decorating for holidays (besides Christmas, of course!) and end up trying to throw things together last minute. You've inspired me! Maybe my family will come home to an Easter centerpiece tomorrow!

  15. I always enjoy reading about a Goodwill find. As my blog title suggests, A Conversation at Goodwill, pretty much suggests that I live at Goodwill. I think my Husband thinks I do. Oh well, it is all fun. Thanks for sharing. A lovely centerpiece.

  24. Love your Spring vignette, Kathy! That bunny is adorable. And the candlesticks are great. However, those candies would not last 10 minutes in my house. LOL!!!

    Happy Monday to you!
