~ Take Note ~

My frugalicious finds that I’m sharing this week are these notecards I picked up from Michaels.

There are 8 cards to a pack and they were $.50 a pack!  Let me say that again ~ $.50 a pack!   I was immediately caught by their designs and picked up one of each design I saw.  {Of course, I can’t remember to pick up styrofoam balls, but manage to pick up notecards that I didn’t even want when I walked in the store}.

I love having notecards on hand because I like to include a note when I’m mailing out a giveaway, and I also like to send a personal handwritten note to clients on occasion.

I like these because they incorporate designs that are popular right now and I like the variety of colors to them.

So, that’s what I’ve got for this week!  I’m linking this post up with Frugalicious Friday over at Finding Fabulous, hosted by Frugalista Jane.

  1. Good Morning Kathy,
Now that's a great deal! And they are so pretty. The bird note card would be pretty framed too.

  2. $1.50 for three pack of notecards was well spent! I too like the designs on them...can't go wrong with birds and birds nests.
    Have a wonderful Easter weekend.

  5. I hope our Michaels has them. I also love that they have current fun designs on them. When I fist looked at the post, I thought for sure that you had made them. It looks like something you would have done.

Hope you have an amazing weekend!!

  6. What a deal! I too like to keep note cards on hand. Sometimes when I am thinking about someone I will write them a quick handwritten note and pop in it the mail. I like the more personal touch sometimes.

I am almost jealous that you are having a granddaughter! When my son and dil told me they were having a baby I had visions of tea parties and baking days with a granddaughter! But when I found out we were having a boy, that was okay too. I have a closet the kids have started calling the Nonna closet because I have been accumulating stuff for future fun with my soon to be grandson. Interesting idea about a soon-to-be grandparent linky!

    Have a fabulous Easter!

So, I'll pour myself a cup of tea and read a spell.
Michaels has such a great selection of inexpensive surprises. I hope you stop by when I post a tut on making stationary from an unusual element. I hope I peeked your curiosity.

    Sweet wishes,
    Sara
