You might remember that I showed you my chalkboard that I put up over my kitchen cabinets.
Well, I decided to go ahead and paint the frame. I was liking the idea of doing it in French Linen more and more.
Then I decided that since I got another, smaller chalkboard that I can write on, I would take my “menu” and make it look a little better ~ on a permanent basis. To have it look as good as possible, I ordered the words in vinyl {my girl, Carisa at Empressive Designs always comes through for me!} and applied them to the chalkboard.
I love it! The larger size lettering makes it easier to read when it is that high up. I don’t need my reading glasses ~ I’m considering it the “large print” version!

Oh the color is very pretty, Kathy. I also like you added the Vinyl lettering what a great alternative, especially if you have sloppy handwriting ( that would be me :)

Nice Kathy! The lettering is a great idea. I have lettered "saying" that is applied to my wall that has been a lot of fun but to apply it to a chalkboard like you have done is such a great idea!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute idea and I love your wording! I am totally pinning this. =)

Oh I love it How perfect. Love the larger letters and the "saying". Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteKathy, Your post about finding the dresser with missing drawers had me giggling. I can't tell you how many things I lug home hoping I get there and see my husband's car not yet in the garage. I know this one will turn out as beautifully as your others. What a lucky daughter you have! Her project turned out beautifully. Another Kathy creation has turned up at my daughters. Shells in a beautiful glass container, a tag hanging from it's knob. Thanks for all you share! E

ReplyDeleteVery clever to order the lettering rather than DIY -- and a great source for us! Thanks Kathy. Also, you didn't say what you used for the linen effect on the frame but it's very handsome. Appreciate you stopping by to see my laundry. Jane
