The mail holder that I picked up at the local antique mart has had its makeover.
I was going to use Old White chalk paint but it was very difficult to get my hand and a brush down into the inside of this piece, so Heirloom White spray paint it is!
Two coats and then I added an image to the front.
A Paris address, which I thought was fitting for a mail holder.
Here it is holding my outgoing mail. Do you like my stamps?
Another item to add to the growing Holiday Market pile!
Precioso.

I sure wish I could come to your holiday market. I'd probably by out your booth and you could go home early..
ReplyDeleteLove it ~!
How cute. I love it's Paris touch. Great idea. I also love the little chest in your previous post. Way too cute. Hugs, Marty

It turned out great Kathy!
ReplyDeleteKathy~ this is completely wonderful! Well done. Another piece rescued.
ReplyDeleteI just finished my first ASCP piece. It is a key box that I will keep in the laundry room. I wanted to add "Key to my heart" to the front and who better to ask how to do this than the stencil/applique queen. (That's you.:)
Did you have a tutorial post? I didn't see it on your side bar.
You will of COURSE be given credit when I reveal it on the blog. :)
Oh Kathy! That is so pretty! I really like the colors and the lettering on the front!
ReplyDeleteAwesome job!
Have a blessed and wonderful day!

ReplyDeleteLove it! It came out great! I'd be surprised if someone does not snatch that up in minutes. And yes, I do love your stamps. ;)

Adorable Kathy.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job, as always. Heirloom white and AS old white are nearly the identical color. I have used the spray paint many times when it's just too hard to use a brush. It was my favorite before chalk paint.
ReplyDeleteThis is perfect and I love the French touch. Fabulous.
