Well, after weeks of high hopes of finding lots of things for my booth at the community garage sale here, I was a little disappointed. I did get several things that I was quite happy with. The best thing I found was a jogging stroller for my daughter for $50.00 {it was priced at $60.00 and the people were selling it for their neighbor, with a low sell price direction from her of $50.00 ~ I originally offered $40.00}. At any rate, it looks like it was never used and when I got home I looked them up and saw similar for $300-$400.00!
This great chair {$10.00}, which is nice and sturdy. I’m going to give it some new batting and change the chair seat fabric on that, but otherwise I think I will leave it alone.
Love this chalkboard {$5.00}. I’m going to paint the face of it and add an embellishment to the top, but leave the edging with the black and white checks.
This wire basket hook thingy {$3.00}. I’m going to spray paint this Heirloom White to freshen it up.
Three doilies {$.25 each}. After a wash, I can use these to add to pillows or totes. A pretty little pink rosebud topiary {$3.00} and a frame {$4.00}, which came from the same person, who told me that she thought it was funny I picked them up together as she had them displayed in her home together.
I skipped over tables since I feel like that’s all I’ve been doing lately, and there were quite a few people selling side tables. There was also lots of baby things and clothes, which I usually pass by. I’m sure there will be more garage sales now that the weather is nicer. This one is nice because you can park on a street and walk along to hit the houses participating in the sale.
Great haul! I've only been to one sale so far and I only got a bag of polyfil. I'm dying over here!

You didn't do too bad at your community garage sale. When we have those, they're either great or mostly baby clothes and toys. It's hit or miss.
