I completed my first Christmas pillow for this year. It is early to be talking Christmas, but if I don’t share it now I will completely forget about it. I found this image on Pinterest and was immediately taken by it because it made me think of my granddaughter.
That curly blonde hair and sweet little face. I used a soft drop cloth fabric for the pillow with a 12 x 12 pillow form. The same drop cloth I used on my chair slips.
I added a red and white gingham floppy ruffle, which gives it a homespun, farm-like and vintage feel.
This one is for me but I’m thinking of adding it to my Etsy, as a custom order. What do you think?
When you are making things for Christmas, whether gifts or to sell, you have to start early!

Sweetest pillow ever and it really does look like E! I started my holiday projects a couple of weeks ago. I blame it on Pinterest and Etsy. Lol! For the day job, I'm already pitching spring. Crazy, right?

Kathy, I have got to be the worst blogging friend, I read your Blog everyday and don't take the time to comment. Heck I didn't even get a chance to tell you how deserved you were foe ECS Shop of the Month. How you have emerged since your beginning days of blogging and growing your business. I am just smitten with this Pillow, yes it reminds me of my Granddaughter too!! I would certainly put it in your Etsy Shop as a Custom Order!! I know the Red/White Check Ruffle would be perfect in my Daughter's Home(hint, Hint).
