A couple of items got a refresh with a coat of Rustoleum’s Heirloom White spray paint last week. Neither of them warrant a post on their own so I’ve combined them together here. First up is this little holder that I keep on my home office desk to hold paperclips.
I’ve been wanting to spray paint this white for years and finally got it done. I tend to hold off on spray painting items until I’ve got a couple to knock out.
Looks like a brand new piece and I like it much better in white.
I also painted this small gold urn.
I’d had this in my booth and it came home with me when I closed the end of April.
I think this will make it easier to move around into different rooms and vignettes in my home.
Sometimes a simple refresh with some white paint is enough to make me feel like I’ve got a “new” look without spending any money!

Amazing how things look so much nicer once they've been painted! Love that little holder you're using for paper clips!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, both look wonderful. I love those little cherubs, and the urn is the perfect size.
ReplyDeleteThey look great in white!
ReplyDeleteI especially love the white urn.
ReplyDeletePaint magic! You've updated these pieces so nicely! I love your choice of white. They look so pretty now.
ReplyDeleteI love everything, Kathy, especially the urn. I think we in the colder climates get that bug to spray paint this time of year (unless we have a place to do it that's safe in the winter). I have a few painting projects here and at the lake and boy, I'm ready!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping. I didn't want to offend anyone with the cat issues, I really think any animal lover is a friend of mine. And kittens...sigh! I just associate them with misery and I experienced my daughter having an asthma attack when she was 4 years old just from holding one for 5 minutes. No tolerance for that anymore.
Hope to get by more often soon, my friend!
XO,
Jane
They both look great in white, Kathy! Amazing what a little spray paint can do! Hope you're having a great day!

ReplyDeleteHi Kathy, The paper clip holder looks amazing on your desk painted white. I have the same urn too and also painted it. Mine is holding a bird's nest at the moment.
ReplyDeleteI tend to wait and spray paint when I have several items to do also.
Great updates!
Hugs
