Being a part of the Etsy community, not only as a seller but as a customer, I have come across many talented individuals. With this series, I hope to introduce you to some of these creative people, finding out where they find their creativity, and a little bit more about them.
This week we welcome Claire from Bless My Nest, who has a blog of the same name. Her shop carries lovely home décor items.
I was thrilled when Kathy asked me to be a part of her The Artist Behind The Etsy series.
Bless My Nest is the title of my blog and my shop is
an extension of my love of home decor, hence the name.
Bless My Nest Shop was opened in April of this year.
My motto is feathering your nest, one twig at a time.
Crafting, thrifting and creating home decor is part of who I am.
Back in Junior High, I crocheted granny square vests and
matching bun covers for all my friends!
All of my jeans got a touch of crafty embroidery as well!
My home is my DIY nest for all my experiments in crafting-
My love for thrifting has been an amazing adventure and I love to decorate with some vintage elements. I use many unique, one of a kind containers into my arrangements and
I try to add a sweet nest to most of my designs.
I have recently added “love nest” pendants in my shop.
They are lovely symbols of a mother’s love for her children- her nest.
Etsy has always been my go to place to find the perfect
accessory for my home, my daughter’s wedding decor and gifts for my family.
It is a joy for me to be a part of this artistic community and
the best part is the opportunity to create something special
that brings a smile to someone’s day and feathers their nest as well!
Thank you for including me in your series Kathy.
Take care, gotta fly-
Claire
