Last week I finally got my husband to go through some of his clothes in “our” closet to donate. A husband should not have more clothes than his wife. Just sayin’. I made the drop off at Goodwill and then went in to see if I could find anything to incorporate into the granddaughter’s bedroom makeover. This Goodwill is more miss than hit, but I did chance upon this little accent table.
For $19.99, I figured it would be a good candidate for a makeover and these little accent tables always come in handy somewhere. It did look familiar to me, though, and so I got it.
Here’s why it looked familiar. I have the same little table in our sunroom! The base is a little different but they could be twins in style. I bought the green one from some online store {already that color} some years ago. It will be getting painted eventually, too, once the sunroom is painted.
It’s so weird that it goes so well in this sunroom. It’s too bad the sunroom is getting painted!
I am thinking the one I picked up today might look good with a grey chalk paint {I haven’t tried the Chateau Grey yet} and some Old White. I gave it the once over in our main bathroom and I think it would look nice sitting by the tub holding some pretties.
On the way home from Goodwill, I pass Salvation Army. They have an abundance of furniture! It’s not always great furniture, but they have quite a bit of it. I found this little scallop shelf there and I think it may work for something I want to do in my granddaughter’s room.
So for $3.99, it came home with me, too. It will also be getting a paint job. I’ve been busy collecting everything I need for the granddaughter’s bedroom makeover. I’m just waiting on two things to be delivered and then I think I will be ready to get it all done.
