I’m Calling It Done!

The guest bedroom that is.  The last thing I wanted to add to this room was a headboard.  I ordered this one from Walmart ~ Queen size for $179.00, the least expensive upholstered headboard I’ve been able to find.  I got it in this color, too.

It had great reviews and shipping to my home was just under $30.00.  If you have it shipped to the store, and go pick it up, shipping is free.  Here is what the room looked like before the headboard.

I put it in place and removed the canvases I had there {kind of like a headboard placeholder}.

I also added the great sign I had ordered from Paula at Castle & Cottage.

That’s it! I’m done in here!  Except for clearing out the closet of things I stuck in here when we moved in, and keeping an eye out for a small but nice upholstered chair, I feel like this room is complete now.

    I love that headboard too and I'm shocked you found it at Walmart for such a great price! Nice and neutral and it will look great forever! Seriously thinking about one for my daughter's room. We still have just the bed frame and are using lots of pillows. It looks okay but I think it needs a headboard. Makes a big difference.

    I didn't even know that Walmart carried headboards! LOVE it!!! Makes me want one for my bed...however, hubby doesn't like headboards! LOL!!

    I didn't realize that Walmart carried such a pretty headboard. The price is good too since most I have seen are $300 plus.

    HI Kathy! So nice to meet you. That is an excellent price for a headboard and looks great! I didn't know Wal-Mart sold headboards! I know JCPenney sells them, but the price is way up there for most of them. You did good!!

    Your room looks great! I cannot believe that you got that headboard at Walmart?! I would never have thought to look there. I love how it lightened things up. I am all into "lightening" these days! I guess in a few more years we will be adding back in the "heavier" items again!
