My First 5K & Giveaway Winner

Last Saturday I participated in my first 5k!  I walked it with my daughter, who is pregnant, and my 4 1/2-year-old granddaughter.  It was a color run/walk for the Indian festival of color, Holi.  What a fun time and there were some great people involved.

I believe we were one of the last few to finish, but we finished, and our three generations finished together!

We were quite a mess of color by the time the 5k was over!  The picture above was before it started and was just from the three of us throwing color on each other.  This was a lot of fun and we had a beautiful day.  I would definitely do this again!

    I did nails for many, many years as a profession and still always love to see new designs and color combinations.It was nice to see that you had fun with your granddaughter in that race!
