Woman’s World

The Woman’s World May 4th issue has hit the stands!

If you recall, I mentioned that my toile lampshade in our master bedroom would be featured in an article they were doing on toile.  And there I am, in the bottom right corner of page 37!

What a thrill and how nice they were to send me two copies!  Thank you, Woman’s World!

    Yeah!!! how fun is that! once upon a time my friend Cathy Scalise had an article done on her gorgeous home. I had made her an ornament in a swap and they photographed it and put a picture of it in the article! but I didnt know it and when I bought the magazine and was looking through it, I didnt even know it was cathys house. I thought it was a beautiful home and then saw the ornament and was like "what?" how did that get there? then I read the aritcle instead of just flipping through looking at the pictures and it mentioned the swaps that we bloggers do! Anyways.. it was quite a thrill to see something I made in the magazine! congrats to you my friend! and happy weekend!!

    that's so so pretty Kathy, congrats!! I've always thought it would be wonderful to make lampshades, but I know there is so much work and time involved. Love the beautiful toile fabric!

    I am so happy and excited for you! What a wonderful honor to be in this magazine. I know you are thrilled as you should be. I remember this lamp and it does deserve to be in a magazine.
