Spring Vignette

SONY DSC

The sun was shining here the other day.  I was taken by the way the rays of sunshine were landing on different things, but especially this area.

SONY DSC

This is one of my favorite areas in our home.  It was also one of the first I decorated when we first moved here.  I was very happy that I was able to use my egg prints in this area.

SONY DSC

While most of this vignette stays the same, I’ll add a small bottlebrush tree to the top teacup or a nest as it is now, I tend to keep my vignettes the same when I like them.  I do like to change up the cloches though.  I didn’t have much going on with this one except for some ceramic letter balls I had found at Michael’s one year.

Until I got the faux books I ordered from Rosemary!  I think I ordered these seconds after she listed them.  Aren’t they beautiful?

SONY DSC

This is how they came ~ tied with twine with two little rosebuds.

SONY DSC

They suit this area well with the brown and cream that is going on.  And this has become a favorite vignette once again!

The vignette is lovely - I especially LOVE the little stand holding the teacups...I have several of my grandmother's teacups that would look lovely in a display like that!!!

I love your spring vignette! The egg prints are beautiful. I'm not doing a lot at my house. I have an egg, teacup, and cloche display and I hung a basket on the door with some forsythia and that's about it. I'm buying so many little bunny items for the nursery so I'm not really doing much else. I'll have to post my pics soon. I can't believe Easter is already almost here! Have a great day!

How pretty, Kathy. The books look great under the cloche- they tie in so well with the rest of your vignette. I'm loving the reading bunny- have you mentioned him before? Just wondering where you got him- I want one! :)
