A few weeks ago, I found these bottles at Goodwill and I’d had them on my mental list to grab them whenever I might see them. They had bath salts in them and I just dumped them out and washed them.
I have one more I haven’t done up yet, but here’s what I’ve done so far.
I found the graphics/labels from The Graphics Fairy. Many times Karen offers graphics that I don’t have a project for at the time, but I always save the ones that catch my eye because I know that at some point I will use them. I printed the labels on brochure paper {which is what I use for things like this that will be glued or crafted with in some way}. I also used a “wallet size” print option, which worked out perfectly for the bottles.
I just attached the labels using Mod Podge {also did a coat over the top}. I used seamed binding/ribbon and on one bottle I used a crown charm found in the jewelry making aisles at Michaels and the other is a button.
I had also found this jar with a seal at Goodwill and for this one I had saved the bee and crown graphic but added the text of “Gluten Free Cookies”. Unlike the other labels that I had attached with Mod Podge, I just used shipping tape to attach this one to the outside of the jar, because I thought I might like to change this one on occasion.
I was going to end this post with the news that I am now officially a Grandma, but I see my sister beat me to it. I have been enjoying holding a little one again and am looking forward to spending some time with them next week. Pictures to come, for sure!
Linking up to Brag Monday over at The Graphics Fairy.

I love what you you did with the bottles! Is brochure paper just thicker or is it a different texture? Thanks for the tip on printing in wallet size...I didn't knowthat existed!
Thanks for sharing, now go pick that precious little one back up! :-)

Love the bottles! What a great idea. I'm always picking up glass containers (usually vases) at our version of Goodwill - Value Village. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for bottles now too!
And a big congrats on becoming a Grandma! What an adorable little bundle. My first grandchild is expected late September and I couldn't be more excited. Enjoy!!!

Congratulations Kathy!
Your bottles are so pretty and that's a really good idea to print out the graphics even if you don't plan on using them right away. I need to start doing that - thanks!
Manuela
Hello Kathy~ I love how you and I share the same creative wave length. The rose petals I stamp and give to friends are wrapped up in jars that are embellished too. The labels with the charms really completes the vintage style.
The Graphic Fairy is so generous to give us such great graphics.
Congratulations Grandma... how wonderful it must be!! Looks like I posted the headband caplets tut just in time.
I'm looking forward to seeing photos!!
Sweet wishes,
Sara
Love these beautiful bottles! I will be copying them. Precious baby - congrats!!!
Congratulations Kathy! As I have said many times, I can't wait for my turn at Grandmotherhood!!!
I love the bottles too very "french" and creative!
Congratulations Kathy! What a beautiful baby! Also, what lovely and sophisticated bottles! Thank you for stopping by my "cute" organizational post. I love to be organized! Because of your background in design, definitely sort by color especially because you save your paper over long periods of time. I worked for too many years at the cutesy Gooseberry Patch not to craft "cute", but I know beautiful art when I see it! Lovely! Elizabeth
Hi Kathy! Thanks for visiting me. LOVE Miss SIssie!
ONce you start swapping - it'll become an addiction! FAIR WARNING :) (hehehe)
Love the bottles. LOVE the bottles!
Congratulations on becoming a Gramma!! I can't wait!!! But it's going to be a long time for me ;(
Have a great week!
