I’ve wanted one of those open lantern style light fixtures for a little while now and with a Joss & Main credit burning a whole in my internet pocket, I checked out the site on Saturday. I had gotten an email that lighting was on sale from Maxim Lighting and, while they are not lantern shaped, was pleasantly surprised to find they had two different kinds available.
This one has the color I like ~ Oil Rubbed Bronze and was still a good deal at $72.95,but I went with the slightly smaller version {21 long by 16 wide} in the silver for $42.95.
I really like how it looks in the Oil Rubbed Bronze, though, so I will most likely be spray painting this one. This will make for a great foyer entrance fixture.

Love the shape and details of this lantern. Looking forward to seeing it hanging in your foyer!
Hi Kathy, beautiful lighting fixture! I know it will look fabulous in your home. Oh, I'd love to see the French book you got. I was in high school in the 60's, so I might have used it! I did save my French 3 and 4 grammar and civilization books, as well as some French play books from high school and college. So glad I have them. Why is it that I can't get enough of them?! Linda
