A project I’ve been working on this week; making changes to these chairs. I started out looking at three different tutorials {which I printed out} and wound up just doing my own thing.
The fabric underneath has to be dealt with {it shows through}, but I’m sharing my “in the process” pictures with you. It’s very cloudy here today so let’s go into the living room where there’s a little more light.
Very casual and carefree chair slips! Nothing fancy and keeping it simple. I’ve got one down and three more to go!
Then I will need to figure out if I want chair ties, velcro closures or if I actually need anything at all. It seems to sit on the chair pretty well all by itself. I will have to sit on them, and get up and down a few times, to see if they stay put.
I’ll have a more thorough post on these coming up this week.

How cute! I love them Kathy!
I think they are adorable! I laughed when I read that you printed out the tutorials but then did your own thing. That's what I do! I do lot of research but end up just winging it... XO Cindy
Love these! The one I made like this for my chair in my creative space stays put, no ties :)

Those are going to be really cute Kathy!
Kathy, your chair covers are really nice! I have never made any but love the look so I might get brave and give it a try. You always have something clever going on around your house. It's fun popping in to see what you are doing.-Shannon

love that you do it YOUR way!

Hi Kathy,
I love how the slipcover looks on the chair. The chair style has a cottagey country french look and the ruffled slip is perfect.

Great job, these match the style of the chair so perfectly! I've GOT to learn to sew!

Love those slips - very sassy! Linda
Those are such pretty little seat covers. I love the ruffle!
I want to make some of those! Courtney always has such beautiful covers on her chairs that I drool! Yours will be fab too! I have to research tutorials.
Love it Kathy! So perfect for Spring & Summer too! I wish I had white chairs like yours instead of brown parsons chairs, but I don't have to wipe fingerprints off them as often! Ha! Angie xo
