The Little Grey Table

Remember this cute little table I found at Goodwill a few weeks ago?

It was $19.99.  I decided to paint it grey to use in our main bathroom next to the tub. I used up the rest of my ASCP Paris Grey sample pot on the main portion of the table.

And the Heirloom White that I made into a chalk paint for the top insert area.  It is very much like the ASCP Old White.  In fact, I used it on my terrarium project and when I photographed it on my French dresser makeover piece {which was done with ASCP Old White} they looked like a set.

I just did some clear wax on it for protection and left it at that.  I did put a few little things on it for the pictures.

Although, I’m sure this is how it will be serving us for most of the time.

I’m going to change out a few things to make a Spring/Summer look in this bathroom this week.  I also need to go back to Target and get some hand towels I saw.  I didn’t get them the first time because I thought $9.99 a piece was a bit high for hand towels, but I keep thinking  how well they would work in here.

Good choice on the two-tone paint job, Kathy! I need to get started on some more paint projects now that it will be pleasant to work out in the garage. Before we know it, it will be hot and humid! This weather has been gorgeous, don't you think? March and in the 70's?!

Looks like we were both working on little table projects this weekend. I love the gray color that you painted on yours. I only had white paint at home and was so anxious to paint mine that white it was!! I need to step out of my "paint it white" stage and add some color!!
Have a great week.

Great table makeover! I love that color grey on there. I love doing paint projects on small pieces of furniture. They don't take long, but make such a big difference.

Your table looks lovely, Kathy! I've wondered about trying to make my own chalk paint. I have a small piece that I'd like to paint and I'm very much behind the times that I've not yet used chalk paint on anything! ASCP seems to be a great product, but it is rather pricey. Hmmm. . . now you have me thinking!

That is the perfect size to use in a bathroom. Love the way you painted it...so adorable! I have been eyeballing all the multitude of things I need to do to the OUTSIDE of my house!! A landscaper owned our house years ago and he planted ALOT of stuff! Which requires ALOT of maintenance! We have been scaling down for the last few years! I told Steve we are getting to old to try and keep all that flippin' shrubbery trimmed! UGH!!

And do you want to talk about the pollen down here? OMG!!!! Horrific is the word I would use. I was trimming shrubs Saturday and there was a yellow cloud all around me! A HOT mess!

Hope your day is great!

Dear Sweet Kathy
I always leave here with a smile on my face. I should come here everyday it would be good for me.
Love this little table you got at GW. It turned out so sweet but everything you do turns out that way. What a great price too.
I need one just like it but I would never find it for that price.
Thank you for your suggestions about my post on colors. Your right I do need to just find some colorful pillows I love and pictures. Wish I could afford pictures of Ms Shipness art. I have only two small ones but her paintings are what I want in my home.
Take care dear friend
