Spring?

SONY DSC

Hopefully, the weather forecast is correct and we will actually be seeing 60 degrees in a day or two.  Last week I put some Spring and Easter décor out, although I felt a little silly putting my Spring wreath on the door as I looked out on snow and ice (while it was about 12 degrees with the wind chill).

I’m using lots of green – probably because I’m tired of looking at white!

I’ve only done the dining area and a couple of things on the kitchen counter and entry hall tree table right now.

I’m hoping to pick up a couple of daffodil plants for a planter I have for the dining table centerpiece.  I’m sure that will brighten things up considerably.

Meanwhile, I’m just hoping (as I’m sure just about all of you are) that Spring arrives soon and all this snow melts away.

Man, just when I started painting things a blue to get away from white...I see your lovely picture of the green you've added and think hmmmm that green is so pretty! Now I'm re-thinking the blue. Anyway, your vignette is so lovely I am excited about seeing the rest of your décor when you get it up.

Beautiful, Kathy! I enjoy using moss balls, topiaries and cloches, too. That tiny cloche is adorable! I'm just waiting to pick up some tulips, they always remind me of spring and Easter.

OH- I LOVE your wreath. I hear you- it is really hard to decorate for Spring when there is ice hanging off the eaves.
Everything looks just great.
Thanks for popping in and leaving me a comment about the 1960's things today. I don't have a direct email to you-so I am leaving my thanks here- xo Diana

Lovely spring decorations, Kathy...love your beautiful wreath! It has been warm here lately, and with the small amount of snow we had this year...there are only a few patches left. And the robins are here now, too...LOVING it.

Your vignettes are always so pretty, and it's so much fun to decorate for spring after a long hard winter. Loving the robins, but then I'm bird crazy. It's been sunny here for a few days, hope it is for you too!

Love all your pretty touches. I put out the things you gave me in a swap a year or two ago. The little white bunny with a touch of glitter is so sweet - she stays out all year!
