I was searching for some magical looking doors online recently and came across these little fairy doors. Apparently, they are quite popular and many people use them to make fairy gardens.
I want this one above in a full size door!

I love the idea of using the trunk of a tree or an old stump to set up a fairy house! How cute is this one below.

Most of these doors are from sellers on Etsy. Here are the links:

Some of these doors even open!
Here’s one that comes in a kit so you could make your own. You get a choice of peaked or flat. I think I might need a pink one!

I think these are a really whimsical piece to bring into your home, as evidenced by this one pictured on a bookshelf. I really love this idea!
If you had a fairy door, where would you put it?

The first one and the last ones are dollhouse doors. You can purchase them here www.miniatures.com or on eBay and then you can paint them or decorate them as you wish. You can pick whatever pediments etc you want to embellish your doors :)

I have two fairy door and a mouse door. I am waiting for my husband to "install" them properly :) Right now they are just propped up against the baseboard. Everyone who comes over loves them.
Those are all so sweet. I love the style on the bookshelf. I'm not sure where I'd put one...but I feel like I need to spend some time trying to decide! My grandbabies would love one of these!!
Who knew there were so many tiny doors to open?!

The little fairy gardens really bring out the child in me! I would definitely make one if I had a grandchild!

These are so cute. I want to build a tiny house now!
Look up Fairy doors in Ann Arbor Michigan, there are tons of them all over town. When I build me a house they will be all over, and they will open up too!
Oh my gosh, how cute are they? I know they'd disappear in my yard though. S and N - need I say more?

Those are so cute! I love the one on the bookcase!
How absolutely darling! I love most things miniature but the idea of having 'fairy doors' is just wonderful. My inner child delights in the idea.
Our local Irish pub has a "leprechaun door" that is just adorable...it sits beside the entry and now and then it is open - makes you wonder :-)
Oh the doors are so cute. I have seen several bloggers use them for gardens. The bookshelf is a cute idea also. What a fun idea.
Thanks also for your comments on the lamps. I was so surprised at the change in the room. I agree, the white for summer and then the brass for fall and winter. Love to change things up. Hugs, Marty
That is the cutest idea. The door in the bookshelf is wonderful...loving the ones outdoors on the tree trunks. I'll take a fairy door anywhere....can I really use it?? Wouldn't that be a magical trip! Have a great one Kathy.
These are adorable! I have to go and check out the Gnome one. It would be perfect for our back yard.
My girls would love a fairy door in their room. I've seen the one you featured for the tooth fairy but how cute to just have one for a real little fairy visit? Thanks for sharing.
