A Quickie ~ Sanity Saver

By now you know that I do like my quick and easy projects thrown in every once in awhile.  I truly believe they help keep me sane when things get a little crazy.  Today I’m waiting on service that was supposed to be here between 8 and 12.  It is now 1:00 as I draft this post. I’m still waiting. Sigh.

Small 5x7 frames that have served their purpose as they were.  I decided to use something I printed out awhile ago and never did anything with.  This beautiful quote from Emily Dickinson on Hope.

I decided to make two and I will give one to my daughter – hopefully, she is not reading this.  Knowing that she likes an Heirloom White look, {but I’m out} I used some of my Annie Sloan Old White on her frame.  Mine I sprayed brown when I did some other frames.

I used the script scrapbook paper I had gotten and used on those picture holders I did here.  Even though I had printed the graphic out on brochure paper, which is a little thicker than regular paper, I glued them to a piece of card stock for more stability.

I used Zots instead of glue to adhere the quote to the script paper which raised it up a little bit.  Kind of a reverse mat, I think.

Glass back in and done!

Such a great quote and I know I will enjoy looking at it!  I think it looks good in both colors.  Cost = $0.00!

those look fantastic. It would be difficult to decide if I like the dark frame or the white the best. The quote you choose is perfect with the script back ground.

Pretty! I really hate waiting for people. I really think the service person should have to call to say their running late or whatever.
