I got this great light fixture from Joss & Main with a credit I had several months ago. It was only offered in the silver color for this size.
I had really liked the larger size because it came in the darker color, but it was too big and more money. You can see it has two tiers of lights as opposed to the one tier of 4 on the one I got.
I knew, though, that I could get mine to look the same by painting it Oil Rubbed Bronze. So I did just that!
We are mounting this light here. Can you see the ceiling plate?
No light fixture in this dining area or the adjoining living room, although there are plates up there indicating that electrical is in place. We can really use the light because eating by lamp light only goes so far!
My son will be back to stay with us for Christmas so I’m hoping I can talk him and my husband into doing a father/son project and hook it up for me. I’ll be back to show you how it looks once it’s up!

What a great light fixture, Kathy. It reminds me of a pretty birdcage.
Kathy, your light fixture looks great! I think it's a fabulous idea too! You are fortunate you have the electrical boxes already installed! A father/son project sounds like fun! I can't wait to see it installed! Merry Christmas!
Beautiful fixture Kathy.. I'm sure your guys will get it done for you .. Cant wait to see it in place.
I love the style and it looks so pretty wearing ORB.

I like the light fixture a lot! Oh, man, those tall ceilings, we have them too. My hubby's excuse for not changing out our light fixtures is he doesn't have a TALL ladder, but our neighbor does LOL

I LOVE IT Kathy and it looks great in the bronze color! Gotta love spray paint!
Kathy,
It looks great after the painting and those guys better get that ladder out and put her up:) Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Blessings,
Linda
I love that light fixture. I check out Joss and Main every day but have yet to pull the trigger on something. It looks awesome in the bronze color. Can't wait to see it hung.
Hey, Kathy! We are so alike in the fact that "wrong color"? Doesn't matter! We can always change that! LOL!
I hope you and your family have a wonderfully blessed Christmas in your new home!
Great job on the light. I would love to do that with all my brass fixtures. Maybe a project for 2012!
Oh my goodness it is incredible. I hope you can talk them into doing the project too.. Happy Holidays.. hugs ~lynne~
