I’ve got a few thrifty finds from garage sales and the thrift store to share today. It seems easier to just group them together in one post. The most recent were these three frames from Goodwill.
They were already this color. I just added the prints to the 8 x 10’s ~ from last years calendar and some Ballard Design wrapping paper to the larger one.
I thought it was kind of sad that the larger one was donated and sold with an actual picture of a child still in it.
At an estate sale a few weeks ago, I found these vintage pink ornaments. I bought these thinking I could use them for display in my booth at Christmas time.
Along those same lines, I found these two little sleds. The wicker one was from Goodwill and the wood one was from a garage sale.
I will probably spray paint both of them a different color and maybe do some kind of image or graphic on the wood one. These will also go in my booth at Christmas time.
It seems a little off to be buying these Christmas things in the warm months, but you gotta buy ‘em when you see ‘em!

Wow! You've found some great things lately. I can't imagine selling a frame with my kiddos pic. still in it either. Have a wonderful week!
Great frames Kathy. I just bought a bunch of made in Japan vintage Christmas items. I seem to always buy off season like that and maybe that keeps the price lower:}
Hi Kathy, Great finds and the frames are awesome. I also see family pics with frames. Don't understand it at all. Don't you love Ballard Design?
I also went thrifting over the weekend and found some great treasures to repurpose.
Have a great week.
Hugs!!

I love what you did with the frames. I have a few Christmas finds just waiting for the season, too. :)
I seem to always find better Christmas items this time of the year. I guess people just aren't thinking Christmas yet. Great finds.

Kathy,
Off season is the best time to find holiday treasures...I have purchased three boxes of shiny brites in the few weeks. Thanks for sharing at my party and yes...that is soooo sad that someone donated that frame with a family pic in it:(
Blessings,
Linda
Love the framed things..Great finds..
Only you could turn these frames into beautiful works of art.
It is sad to think someone disgarded a picture of a child. Makes you wonder doesn't it.
I sure have missed you and it's great to be here tonight catching up on you and your lovely pieces that always leave me in awe.
I think of you often but I just can't seem to blog like I want to.
Take care honey and so glad you came by and left me such a sweet comment.
Love ya
Maggie
I need a thrifting day soon. Some of you gals lately are making me in envy of your scores. LOVE the ornaments.
Oh I know...I always think it's so sad when I find frames with kids photos or couples. I always wonder what happened that the person donating it didn't want the photos.
Great thrifty finds!
What great finds!! Thanks so much for stopping in and for your kind words!!
Hugs,
Debbie
