A few weeks ago I showed you this key plaque that was part of a good garage sale day.
A couple of weeks ago I painted it with Old White chalk paint. Then I was stumped. It definitely needed something else to bring it to life. Does that ever happen to you? I put it on the side and decided to give it some thought before rushing into anything. I finally decided on watering down some brown craft paint and doing a glaze over the Old White with it.
Just the type of look I wanted and I think it has updated this key plaque nicely!

The key to a good project is seeing the possibilities...it looks great!
You asked about the benefits of doing the store window. yes, I hope I sell everything in the window and that it will pull people into my booth...We'll see!

Much better glazed. Yes, I do that all the time. Sometimes you have to wait for the right inspiration.
