Flower Pot Made Pretty

This is certainly not an original idea, but it is an idea whose time had come for this flower pot.

I bought this faux planted pot on clearance online at Kirklands several months ago.  Sadly, it only came in this black color for the pot.  Since I had the Old White open doing the painting on the Roadside Rescue chest, I decided to paint the pot.

I also picked out one of the graphics from The Graphics Fairy that I had copied when I went to the library.

Except, because of the size of the pot, I just used a portion of this graphic.  I cut out what I wanted and made sure it would fit, then applied Mod Podge to the image and stuck it on the pot.  After letting it dry, I removed the paper and wound up with a much prettier pot than what I started with!

A fairly quick project that gave me a brand new look!

WOW, talk about making something bleh into something WOW!

Hey Kathy, what do you print your graphics ON - what kind of paper or whatever? I have never done it and think it may be high time I do in the near future - you always make everything look so much better.

I have Mod Podge and the brushes and lordy knows I have excess of stuff to need to make nicer - just wasn't sure what to print that stuff ON.

Thanks for all your inspirations!
